Progress making of Composizione Oro e Legno 1
In a few steps i will show you the making of the mosaic Composizione Oro e Legno 1. In reality more steps were needed. But these photo’s will give you a good impression of the progress on this work.
You need to be a little crazy to make these kinds of mosaics : i sawed over 600 cubes of wood and i sanded all of them on 6 sides…..
The cubes also have a curved top. And they are glued to the substrate according to a plan.
And then gold, loads of gold. In a beautiful color gradation from white gold to copper.
It is growing !
Keep on working and stick to your plan will give a beautiful result !
Almost done and ready for the next important step : a nice frame made out of teak wood !
