Progress making of Composizione Oro e Legno 2
In a few steps i will show you the making of the mosaic Composizione Oro e Legno 2. In reality more steps were needed. But these photo’s will give you a good impression of the progress on this work.
You need to be a little crazy to make these kinds of mosaics : i sawed over 1600 cubes of wood in different heights and i sanded all of them on 6 sides…..
Also for this project i made a plan : Where will i place which cube and what color of gold ?
I drew the plan on the substrate.
All wooden cubes are glued into their positions !
