Winter Wonderland
A winter impression. You can feel the cold but also a warm atmosphere, so in a striking way I’ve captured a winter feeling. Nature fascinates me; the light, the colors, the beauty of nature. All these elements provide endless inspiration. My deep knowledge of color enables me to give depth and mood to a mosaic piece. The use of color is extremely important to me as a mosaic artist. I can’t mix colors the way a painter does. I depend on the technique of optical mixture; an interplay between your eyes and the brain. “Winter Wonderland” won second prize at the Orsoni international mosaic contest in 2014 and was selected for the Orsoni exposition in Venice, Italy, in 2015.
